Starting Thursday, Nov. 5, the Bellingham City Council’s office is conducting a citywide survey for renters, landlords, and property managers. The survey results will help the City Council and the City’s new Landlord and Tenant Advisory Work Group understand the rental landscape and the impacts of recent regulations.

The City Council Office conducted a survey last year to hear from landlords about their experiences in Bellingham. The City Council requested that its staff members conduct the same survey this year to identify response trends. The Council also requested that the survey effort include renters, as well.

We invite renters, landlords, and property managers to take the survey and share it with their friends, colleagues, and organizations.

The survey will close in December.

We look forward to reporting the results in early 2027.
