This survey is now closed.

We are seeking feedback from community members that will help determine next steps as we implement the City's Climate Action Plan. Our goal is to develop a step-by-step plan to address the effects of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Bellingham. It will outline specific approaches to:

  • Reduce emissions in homes and buildings.
  • Increase the use of electric vehicles.
  • Create and buy renewable energy.
Total greenhouse gas emissions have leveled off since the City started recording emissions in 2000. As emissions plateau, current and future targets are becoming more challenging to reach. The Climate Action Plan will focus our community’s efforts so we can make progress toward our ambitious goals to reduce emissions.

We recommend completing this survey on a larger screen for a better survey experience. If you experience difficulties, please contact us at climate.action@cob.org.

Why should you respond to this survey?

We need your help to determine Bellingham’s readiness to take action in key project areas! We want to learn the community’s hopes and concerns about taking action on climate change - particularly the economic, social, and environmental costs and benefits.

Your responses will help us understand our community’s priorities and needs and help develop solutions that we can implement successfully.
