Draft Lake Whatcom Forest Management Plan Feedback Survey
Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts on the draft Lake Whatcom Forest Management Plan, a document that will help guide how the City of Bellingham and Whatcom County manage public forestlands to protect drinking water, improve forest health, reduce wildfire risk, and support recreation and wildlife. Your feedback will help us understand if the Plan's objectives align with community values as we finalize the plan and begin implementing its recommendations. You don’t need to read the full plan to participate – this survey highlights key themes. There is an option to add open-ended comments on the last page of the survey.
This survey is open through November 20 and builds upon the community input we received online and in person between April and July 2025 during an earlier phase of plan development. The survey should take between 5-10 minutes to complete. Anyone who provides an email and username can take the survey -- it's not necessary to be registered through Engage Bellingham.
