Please help us name the park by submitting your park name ideas here. City of Bellingham park naming policy (PAR 01.00.01) specifies a broad approach to soliciting and collection of park names from the public for consideration of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for final recommendation to the Bellingham City Council for approval. The City set naming rules as follows: Parks are not named after a living person, nor a dead person nor event unless ten years have elapsed since death or occurrence, avoid duplicating existing names.
