The City of Bellingham has drafted its first Urban Forest Plan (UFP) using feedback we heard from our community. Now we would like your input on the draft! Please have each household member complete their own survey. If you have additional feedback that was not covered in this survey, please use the Questions and Comments tab on our Engage Bellingham page to add a comment with your feedback. 

This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The survey is open from April 15 to May 15.

What is Bellingham’s urban forest?

Bellingham’s urban forest includes all trees, vegetation, soils, associated natural processes, and cultural elements found in towns, cities, and other communities where people reside. Bellingham’s urban forest consists of forests and trees in the City found on both public and private property, including street trees, park trees, forested parklands, trees on institutional campuses, and trees in many private ownership settings, ranging from parking lots to backyards.
