Upcoming Open Houses - Provide Feedback In Person at a November Event
RSVP for one of three open houses we will host in November. Join us to provide feedback on the changes we are proposing and tell us whether they match what you want to see.
- November 14, 2024; 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. @ Western Washington University Viking Union
- November 14, 2024; 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. @ Options High School Commons
- November 20, 2024; 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. @ Cordata Park Pavilion
While signing up is optional, it helps us a lot and ensures we have enough food for everyone.
About the Events
- During these open-house-style events, we will dive into overviews of each of the plan’s chapters. City staff will be there ready to answer your questions.

Summary of Proposed Changes - Provide Feedback Online
Get a quick overview of the most significant updates we are proposing for Bellingham's growth plan. Dig into individual chapters to see draft summaries and chapter details. Provide your feedback!
Play the Bellingham Boardgame
Boardgames are available to borrow, allowing you to dig into how you think Bellingham should grow over time. This is a fun way to get involved, and you can bring your friends to the party! Materials are posted on this page (at right on desktop, below on mobile) in case anything is missing/illegible from your game when you borrow it.
You can borrow the game through the library system or directly from staff. If you borrow it from staff, please return it to the Permit Center at City Hall (open Mon, Tues, Thurs 8:30am – 3:30pm / Wed 9:30am – 3:30pm) or contact staff at theBellinghamPlan@cob.org to connect. You can also find the boardgame at the following locations, to be played on site (not available to borrow):
- Lost Giants Cider
Once you have finished playing the boardgame, take a moment with your team to submit a photo of your board and (optionally) a few comments about your reasoning and experience playing the game.
